GURUDWARA SHRI LAKHNOUR SAHIB is situated in the Lakhnour Village of Ambala Distt. It is situated Ambala Hisar Road. SHRI GURU TEGBAHADUR SAHIB JI's wife and SHRI GURU GOBING SINGH JI's Mother MATA GUJRI was born here. Later her parents shifted to Kararpur Sahib, Where she got married to SHRI GURU TEG BAHADUR SAHIB JI. When SHRI GURU TEGBAHADUR JI and MATA GUJRI were on tour to Bihar, SHRI GURU GOBIND RAI's(GURU GOBIND SINGH JI) was born there. MATA GUJRI JI stayed there and SHRI GURU TEGBAHADUR JI went further to Assam and Bangladesh. MATA JI and GURU GOBIND RAI Ji stayed there for 5 years. And later on GURU TEGBAHADUR JI's order MATA GUJRI JI, GURU GOBIND RAI JI and MATA NANAKI JI started for Punjab. And on the way they reached Lakhnour Sahib. MATA and GURU JI stayed here for 6 months. Allong with them there were three Beds, (Out of Which 2 beds and 2 Pawa's are still preserved here), 2 Prant's and many more GURU SAHIBS weapons are still preserved here.
