GURUDWARA SHRI BAOLI SAHIB PEHOWA is situated in the Pehowa town in Kurukshetra distt. GURU NANAK DEV JI came here during his firs udasi. At that time there was lot of influence of pandits. They used to make fool of people on superstitious rites for the benefits of dead. Pandits have thrown a big ear ring of Tyre size in Sarswati Rivers. They used to ask people to donate ear ring in night and showed them this ear ring in morning, proving them that there donation had got multiplied in night. In this was people used to donate more and more. But GURU NANAK SAHIB tough them the right way that if donation is multyplying so much then what about the Bad things they were doing how many times it will get multiplied. in tbhis way Pandits got ashamed and stoped all those things. GURU SAHIB stayed here for lot of time. A Bhora sahib and Baoli (Now Sarovar)is also situated at this place where GURU SAHIB used to meditate. SHRI GURU AMAR DAS also stayed here while going to Kurukshetra. SHRI GURU HARGOBIND SAHIB ji also stayed here while going to Kurukshetra.
