GURUDWARA SHRI BHANGANI SAHIB is situated in the Bhangani village of Paonta Sahib Tehsil in Sirmour Distt. It is situated on right bank of Yamuna River. GURU GOBIND SINGH JI fought and won his first battle of life against the hill cheifs. Raja of Kehlur(Bhim Chand) had asked GURU SAHIB for trained Elephant. But GURU SAHIB refused him to give because of which he was annoyed with GURU SAHIB. When GURU SAHIB came to know that Raja Bhim chand is coming back from Srinagar(UttraKhand) after his Sons marraige, prepared to attack paonta sahib with other hill rajas, GURU SAHIB prepared for the show, and came in forward to village Bhangani and fought here. GURU SAHIB holded the command from Place near by now known as GURDWARA SHRI TEERGARHI SAHIB.
