GURUDWARA SHRI BIBANGARH SAHIB is situated in the Distt City Fatehgarh Sahib. Its situated on the back side of GURUDWARA SHRI FATEHGARH SAHIB. In 1704, Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh ji were martyerd mercilessly. After their martydom Bhai Moti Ram Mehra ji narrated the whole incident to Mother Gujri Ji. After listening this Mother Gujri prayed before god and left his holy abode. Mughals threw their dead bodies in dense forest behind GURUDWARA SHIR FATEHGARH SAHIB, on bank of River Hansla. The forest contains many wild animals. One Lion gaurd the holy bodies for 48 hours from other animals. Suba Demanded gold coins from Diwan Todar Mal and Sangat for cremation of those pious bodies. It marks the place where dead bodies of the three martyrs were kept for the night, and their hearses prepared prior to cremation. |
