GURUDWARA SHRI BEHAR SAHIB is situated in Village Behar, Distt Patiala. This village is situated on Punjab-Haryana Border. SHRI GURU TEGBAHADUR SAHIB JI came here from village Dhamtaan with family. A carpenter named Mala bowed in front of GURU SAHIB. He took GURU SAHIB and his family to his home. Where he served GURU SAHIB and ladies from his family served MATA GUJRI JI, MATA JITO JI and other ladies along with GURU SAHIB. For whole night he served GURU SAHIB and discussed the religious things. In morning GURU SAHIB took bath and was doing nitnem Paath, The villager assembled and prayed in front of GURU SAHIB that they were very poor people, please do something for us and get us relieved from this miserable life. GURU SAHIB told them to stop the consumption of Tambaacoo and you people will be relived from this. People said that we cannot leave consuming tambaacoo. GURU SAHIB told that if you had left the tambaacoo today then your poverty would have ended today only, but now at some time My sikhs will come here from West Punjab and this place will be a Tirath.

GURU SAHIB also blessed that who so ever will take bath for 12 Masya in this sarovar his wishes will be fulfilled. GURU SAHIB stayed here for three days and two nights at Mala's home. Also GURU SAHIB got Tirlok Das relieved from his problems and left towards Kaithal.
