GURDWARA SRI HANDI SAHIB is situated in Danapur Patna City. Situated on distance of 20 Km from SRI HARIMANDIR JI PATNA SAHIB, SRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI(GOBIND RAI JI) while going to Punjab stoped here. When GURU SAHIB left for Punjab many people followed him. People here gave warm welcome to GURU SAHIB and sangat. An old lady served everyone with pot (Handi) full of Khichri. She requested GURU SAHIB to stop there for some more time, then GURU SAHIB told her that so long khichri would be cooked here and served to sangat you will feel my presence here. That lady kept serving the sangat with khichri through out her life. Along with GURU SAHIB was Mata Gujri Ji and Mama Kirpal Das Ji.
