GURDWARA SRI NANAK DARBAR SAHIB is situated in the village Lakhpat, Distt Kutch Gujarat. SRI GURU NANAK DEV JI came here while of going and coming back from Mecca during his fourth missionary journeys (Udasis) in 1519-1521 AD. GURU SAHIB stayed here at Sindhi Familys house. Along with GURU SAHIB's Kharawaan (Sleepers), Kharawan of Baba Sri Chand Ji are also preserved here. Baba Sri Chand brought Cradle of SRI GURU NANAK DEV JI which is still preserved here. This house belonged to a Sindhi Hindu family, who after GURU SAHIB's visit preserved this house as it was. Unesco awarded Heritage award to this Site. In 1990's Sindhi family handed over this place to Sikh community, who are now taking care of this place. This place is about 135 KM from Bhuj City.
