GURDWARA SRI AKALGARH SAHIB is situated in village Akalgarh, Teh Paonta Sahib, Distt Sirmour. SRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI used to give training to his Singhs, GURU SAHIB here trained Bhai Sango Shah, Bhai Ganga Ram, Bhai Jeet Mal, Bhai Mahri Chand, Bhai Gulab Chand and his followers. Also GURU SAHIB appointed them as Generals in the army. Peer Budhu Shah Ji along with his four sons and Sant Kirpal Das with his followers joined for trainning. GURU SAHIB named this place as Singhs Army Camp Akalgarh Sahib. From here only GURU SAHIB performed ardas and left for Battle of Bhangani.
