GURDWARA SRI CHUBACHA SAHIB is situated in Village Thanda, Distt Amritsar. SRI GURU HARGOBIND SAHIB JI was born in the house of Mata Ganga Ji and SRI GURU ARJAN DEV JI. GURU ARJAN DEV JI's elder brother Prithi Chand wanted to kill BAL HARGOBAND SAHIB JI out of jealousy to get the Guru's throne. Prithi Chand along with Sulhi khan tried to kill BAL HARGOBIND SAHIB JI. At the request of the Sangat, SRI GURU ARJAN DEV JI along with family came from Guru Ki Wadali and camped at a well outside Thande village and stayed here for a few days BAL HARGOBIND SAHIB JI's 13 day bath was also done at the same well.
