GURDWARA SRI MITHASAR SAHIB is situated in Village Nesta, Distt Amritsar city. This village is located on pakistan border and blessed by visit of SRI GURU HARGOBIND SAHIB JI . There was a Pandit's house at this place. He had two wives, the elder wife was GURU SAHIB's follower and the younger one was an atheist. The two were arguing with each other, Annoyed by this, Pandit separated them and got two wells were installed for water. The water of the well which belonged to the elder wife turned out to be salty and the water of the other well turned out to be sweet. The older woman accepted it as God's will. SRI GURU HARGOBIND SAHIB JI reached this place from Bhujang's Dera and asked Gadwai to fetch water from this well. Bibi refused to take water because its water is salty. But GURU SAHIB insisted to drink the water of this well and the water of this well became sweet and the salty of the other.
