GURDWARA SRI GUNGSAR SAHIB is situated in Village Kotha Guru Ka Distt Bathinda. SRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI came here from after battle of Chamkaur Sahib. When GURU SAHIB reached here then some kids were grazing cattles. Watching GURU SAHIBs army some Kids ran away, But one Dumb boy kept standing there. GURU SAHIB asked him about the village, But he couldnt speak. GURU SAHIB blessed him with hand and child answred that this village Kotha Sodhian Ka. GURU SAHIB smiled and told that now its Kotha Guru Ka. GURU SAHIB also blessed this village that Dumb and deaf people whoever will come here and take holy bath will get cure of.
