GURDWARA SRI GUNGSAR SAHIB is situated in Village Bangher Distt Bathinda. On request of local Sangat SRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI accompanied them to Qilla. GURU SAHIB reached there and asked people that if they have any problem in life. People requested GURU SAHIB that theres a monster ( Deo ) who destroys theres houses and disturbs them. Kindly get them free from from monster. GURU SAHIB called upon monster and asked him that why was he disturbing people. He bowed in front of GURU SAHIB and told that he was hungry from long time. Kindly do some thing for him, he will leave the fort for ever. GURU SAHIB sat for some time and found that there was Bull common of ten villages. People were also disturbed from that Bull. GURU SAHIB send some Singhs to get that Bullock. When Singhs reached here in this village they asked people about that bull. People laughingly told that bull was sitting in water. Bhai Mailagar Singh went to him and asked " Chalo Bhai GURU SAHIB ne Bulayaa hai" and showed him GURU SAHIB's Hukamnama. Bull came out and Singhs started following him towards Bathinda. Bull reached Fort in front of GURU SAHIB. GURU SAHIB asked Bhai Mailagar Singh to cut Bull's head in one attempt of sword. Bhai Sahib did the same way. And it was offered to monster and his hunger was fulfilled. GURU SAHIB sent monster to sirhind and told him that his services will be needed there. GURU SAHIB asked Singhs that if villager served them or not. Singhs told that they didnt served anything infact they teased them. GURU SAHIB said that this village will not grow anymore. Who so ever will leave this village will excelrate. When people of this village came to know about this, they met GURU SAHIB at talwandi sabo. Along with them they brought weapons and food and offered GURU SAHIB and asked to forgive them. GURU SAHIB said that battels are over now so he doesnot need any weapons. Food they can put into langar. GURU SAHIB told people that at place of Dhab in village a lot of Sadhus had meditated. So it is a very pious place. Serve the travellers follow the sikhism and also not to consume tabacoo.
