GURDWARA SRI LAKHISAR SAHIB is situated near Village Lakhi Jungle, Distt Bathinda. Gurudwara Sahib is situated at a distance of 15 Km from Bathinda City and 6 Km from town Goniana Mandi.
SRI GURU NANAK DEV JI :- SRI GURU NANAK DEV SAHIB JI visited this place and recited Holy 'Japji Sahib'. GURU SAHIB blessed this place by saying that whosoever will hear or recite JAPJI SAHIB on Puranmashi (the full moon Day) and take bath in holy sarovar, all his wishes would be fulfilled. This place was dense forest and After GURU SAHIB visit and recitation of Path it was know as Lakhi Jungle.
SRI GURU HARGOBIND SAHIB JI ;- SRI GURU HARGOBIND SAHIB JI also visited this place whle going to Lahore from Delhi.
SRI GURU HARRAI SAHIB JI :- SRI GURU HARRAI SAHIB JI also visited this place during his journeys.
SRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI :- SRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI visited this place and blessed this place as 'Place of liberation'. GURU SAHIB took the milk of Brown and Black Cow of Bhai Soma Ji and blessed him with milk and son. GURU SAHIB used datan of Palahi tree and buried that twig at this place, with time which has now become a full fledged tree of Phalahi. A Sarovar of Bhai Bhagtu Ji exists nearby. GURU SAHIB also arranged the third Kavi Darbar at this place.
