GURDWARA SRI PATA SAHIB is situated in Dist. City Kurukshetra. SRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI came here at time of Solar Eclipse along with Mata Sundar Kaur ji, Mata Gujari Ji and Some soldiers. GURU SAHIB came here at Mani Ram Brahmins house. Brahmins Sister served Mata Sundar Kaur ji and Mata Gujari Ji with great devotion. Please from her service Mata Ji gave her Panj Granthi Pothi and Sakhian Wali Pothi. GURU SAHIB got a diwan setup on south side. GURU SAHIB gave sangat teaching of "Naam Japo Wand Shako and Dharm Ki Kirat Karo ". Breaking the local rules of not preparing food during the eclipse GURU SAHIB got Langar prepared. One Sadhu with help of spiritual power has increased his hunger and was supposed to eat whole of langar and make GURU SAHIB feel ashamed. GURU SAHIB came to know about this and asked Sewadars to serve Langar saying SATNAM. When Sadhu started eating he got to know the whole story and fell on GURU SAHIB's feet. GURU SAHIB got loaded a donkey with costly presents and asked the Brahmans to take it as alms. But brahmans hesitated to accept the donkey, One young Brahimin Mani Ram accepted the donkey after directions from his mother. In actuall Donkey was a cow. Then GURU SAHIB visited Brahimins house and blessed him with Hukamnama Sahib. Which is still preserved at GURDWARA SRI PATA SAHIB.
